Dr. Ross Allen: Your online Physiotherapy Expert

Having suffered with back pain as a teenager, I attempted every treatment available in order to improve my condition. I remember having to stop playing sport, which was my passion, and I found this very challenging at the time.

As well as suffering from the physical consequences, it also impacted on social interactions that comes from being able to take an active part in your normal daily activities. I understand how back pain can effect every aspect of your life; effecting both your physical and mental wellbeing.

I tried various medical interventions to aid my recovery, yet, I couldn’t understand how different therapists varied so much in their approach to treating back pain.

My passion & lifetime commitment to helping others who are suffering with back pain is based on my own personal experience & frustration in seeking help for the condition.

Because of this experience, I decided that I would complete degrees across a range of therapies in order to understand the differences in approach. I utilise the best elements of physiotherapy, chiropractic, and physical therapy to facilitate recovery from pain.

Early diagnosis and management is critical when it comes to back pain. This is due to the fact that back pain has been shown to recur and can frequently develop into a long-term (chronic) pain if not addressed early.

Research demonstrates that the incidence of pain one year after initial onset is much higher than was once perceived. To discuss your back pain & your options regarding management book your online physical therapy consultation with Ross today.
